Yes, you can easily switch to or from Google Reader syncing by clicking on the settings button on the main screen and tapping on the Google Reader row. From here you can enable or disable Google Reader syncing.

The 'Shared' section, off of the main view, shows you the shared articles of the people you "follow" on Google Reader. For more information on how Google Reader Sharing works and to manage the people you follow, please visit the Google Reader Sharing section.

The 'Shared' section is currently a exclusive feature to Google Reader, therefore you will not see the 'Shared' section unless you have Google Reader syncing turned on.

You can easily add a new feed from the main view (aka: 'Feed List'). From the main view click on the 'Edit' button in the upper right hand side of the screen. This will make two buttons appear on the bottom of the main view.

The button on the left will take you to the 'Quick Add' section where you can add from a list of popular sites with a single touch.

The button on the right will take you to the normal 'Add Feed' section where you can enter the URL of a the feed you wish to add. To help make this process easier we have added a couple features to help you out. The first of which you will notice when you start typing in the URL to the feed you wish to add. When you start typing our custom auto-complete tool will kick in and give you suggestions that you can tap to quickly complete what you were typing.

Yes! You can cancel a refresh or sync that is in progress by swiping your finger horizontally across the bottom tool bar on the main screen.

Yes! If you swipe your finger horizontally across the row of the article you wish to work with you will see the "top layer" of that row move to the side revealing the ability to do everything from marking an item as starred, to sharing or bookmarking an article.

Within the Feed view (aka: Article List) click the 'Edit' button in the upper right of the screen. By entering Edit mode each of the articles will gain a button where you can 'select' the row(s) you wish to work with. At this same time a new bottom toolbar will slide out revealing extra actions for use while in Edit mode, including, selecting all rows, marking the selected rows as read and marking the selected rows as unread. To exit Edit mode, simply click the 'Done' button which is in the position of the original 'Edit' button in the top right of the screen.
